CEI Case Study

Challenge:

Our client, CEI (Corporate Events Inc.), came to us with a last minute request to film a company overview video. A typical lead time for a video shoot is 6 weeks to allow for scripting, practice sessions, direction confirmation from the client, and more. Without any practice and minimal scripting/outlining, we still moved forward with the project on the preferred filming dates, with last minute filming cancellations involved.

Solution:

The REBL team was able to capture Broll of the team at work, which helps with any on-camera inefficiencies. In addition, we ask the clients Q&As throughout with prompts for answers rather than trying to remember what to say on screen. We also had a teleprompter on-site during filming which allowed us to do any last-minute scripting to help the talent hit key talking points while on camera.

Results:

The client was extremely happy with the way the video turned out. “The reaction I had when watching for the first time was absolute pride in my team for really being honest. I love Rieka’s piece and Scott McDonald was such a natural. They all did a terrific job and I’m so appreciative of how you were able to guide everyone in the right direction.” – Wendy Butler, Director of Strategy and Client Services.
